Since January 2012, Prophecy has a line-up consisting of 5 musicians - Antoine (Guitars / Backing Vocals), Laurent (Guitars), Jérémy (Lead Vocals), Camille (Bass Guitar / Backing Vocals) and Michael (Drums) - with a huge motivation and passion, hoping to break into metal music world !
After the release of an auto-produced first demo named "Prophecy" in 2014, the band pass through bad days with the departure of Michael, leaving an orphaned rythmic base. Fortunately, the same year, Baptiste join the adventure as a drummer to give a new life to the band.
With this creative and full of energy line-up, Prophecy is ready to hit the metal stage again !
Mixing various influences, Prophecy aims to distill the sounds of Heavy and Thrash music in order to get a powerful and melodic mixture at the same time. From Iron Maiden to Kreator, from Helloween to Iced Earth, passing by Judas Priest (among others), the band's strength is to draw their inspirations in each member's influences to offer ever more original and varied compositions.
In 2015, Prophecy becomes Prophecy Of Apocalypse (or Prophecy O.A.), mostly for legal reasons.
Depuis janvier 2012, Prophecy possède un line-up formé de cinq musiciens - Antoine (Guitares / Chœurs), Laurent (Guitares), Jérémy (Chant), Camille (Basse / Chœurs) et Michael (Batterie) - motivés et passionnés, qui espèrent bien se faire une place dans le monde du metal !
Après avoir enregistré une première demo éponyme sortie en 2014, le groupe vit un coup dur avec le départ de Michael, laissant la base rythmique orpheline. Heureusement, la même année, Baptiste rejoint l'aventure en tant que batteur afin de donner une nouvelle vie au groupe.
Avec ce line-up plein d'énergie et de créativité, Prophecy est de nouveau prêt à en découdre avec la scène metal !
Brassant des influences diverses, Prophecy a pour vocation de distiller les sonorités du Heavy et du Thrash pour obtenir un mélange puissant et mélodique à la fois. D’Iron Maiden à Kreator, d’Helloween à Iced Earth, en passant par Judas Priest et Metallica (entre autres), la force du groupe est de puiser ses inspirations dans les répertoires de chaque membre afin de proposer des compositions toujours plus originales et variées.
En 2015, Prophecy devient Prophecy Of Apocalypse (ou Prophecy O.A.) pour des raisons majoritairement juridiques.
